4 Servings
- 200g dumpling bread or cut rolls
- 50g butter, 80g onions
- 100g spicy cheese
- ca. 1/8 l milk
- 2 eggs, 50 g flour
- salt
- marjoram
- nutmeg
- 2 TBL chopped parsley
Goes well with a classic beef soup, tastes also deliciously as main course with side dishes such as potato salad with watercress or corn salad!
- Panfry chopped onions in butter and mix with breadcrumbs. Add eggs, chopped parsley, salt, some marjoram and nutmeg together with the flour.
- Pour warmed milk on it, add finely cut cheese and knead to a medium-solid mixture. If the dough is too solid, add some more breadcrumbs.
- Form small dumplings and press to small loafs. Fry slowly in a hot pan with butter. A small amount of fried bacon can be added to the Kaspressknödel-mixture.
