Medium golden colour with juvenile reflections. Multy-dimensional fruity nose displaying fragrances of passion fruit, acacia blossom, tropical fruits, apricot from single orchards in Rust, sugar melon, white peaches and eucalyptus. Inviting almost fresh hints of honey, seductive fragrance. Convinces also new lovers of noble sweet wine. Multi-faceted, sweet with crisp acidity and really elegant creamy texture. Preserved apricots, well integrated residual sugar which adds to the brilliant acidity, juicy – a “Beerenauslese” which unfortunately produced only “bonsai quantities”, yet, due to its complexity, nicely mirrors the vintage. Those who can resist … have to turn directly to the Ruster Ausbruch!
Pizza with Stilton, Kornel cherries and Macademia nuts, mango tart with Fontina and honey. Roasted goose liver with Muscat raisins, quark pancake with stewed plums, peach ice cream with pieces of fruit, desserts with local fruits such as strawberries or greengage, rice pudding with raspberry syrup. Goat cheese pastries with molten apricots. Grilled marshmallows with passion fruit juice, rosemary crème brûlée.
