Inky ruby-red color with exuberant core, heavy legs, violet hues; the nose is redolent of black berries with traces of delicate herbal spice, After Eight mints and coconut chocolate; appealing and three dimensional. On the palate this is dry with fine fruit sweetness and a nice tannin structure; lush and succulent, spicy, vanilla, discreet smoky notes; good stuff, artistic and expressive.
Meditation wine in red, in concrete terms: venison steak with pepper crust, Sibratsgfäl mountain cheese, along with the family chronicles.
